Located in the Aria Hotel near the U.S. Embassy, Coda is where one of Czechia's most innovative and talented chefs hangs his toque. A native of southern Bohemia, executive chef David Sasek tempts diners with classic dishes of his homeland -- such as the creamy dill-accented mushroom/potato soup, kulajda, or a succulent rabbit leg prepared sous vide -- as well... Coda was our last night of our 10 day Christmas trip and a wonderful end to it. The service was exceptional. They had a multi-course offering as well as individual dishes available. My teenage daughter had a sashimi salad to start which she said was the best thing she had on the trip -- it was a beautiful presentation. We... More

The hotel’s fine dining restaurant is called Coda, an impeccable experience that we thoroughly enjoyed. From the creative dishes to the service and the view. It was an experience that we will not soon forget. During our dinner on the terrace, we watched the sunset over Prague with a perfect view of the skyline…a scene straight out of a romantic... More

My husband and I were staying in the Aria's sister hotel, the Golden Well, and the front desk suggested this restaurant for lunch one day. We were just amazed at the quality of the food. We both ordered the stuffed ravioli and beef tenderloin and it was some of the best food we've ever tasted. So much so that we... More

We liked the food and service here so much the first time that we came back for another dinner. The second dinner was as good as the first and the service was impeccable. The first time we had the Czech tasting menu with wine pairings; the second time we each had an appetizer and main and then shared dessert. Everything... More

We had thanksgiving dinner here, no turkey, but great food. Service was outstanding. This is a beautiful restaurant in a gorgeous hotel. The art work in the place was unique and fun. Great place for an elegant meal.

Ambiance, service ... it's all in style here. The menu offers sufficient choice, and the preparation and presentation are equally excellent. The special designed plates add that little extra. Good choice of wines as well.

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
