This place comes highly recommend by my hotel concierge. “Very good food with the best view” was his exact words. As we wander up the hills of Mala Strana through winding cobble stone streets, I must say I felt a tinge of heighten anticipation as I approach the door. Feels like we’re trespassing somebody’s home. That's the atmosphere of U... More

A beautiful restaurant with stunning views of Prague. A lovely menu, with plenty to choose from and the service was outstanding. I decided to have two starters instead of a main course. Definitely worth a visit and would love to go in summer.

Even if the food wasn't so great ( which it really was to be honest) the view would be enough. It is breathtaking and atmosphere and interior of this place is really nice. I like these places with long white tablecloths. We had tasting menu wich is 2300 CZK without wine selection, and there is also dessert menu, breakfast menu,... More

If you are looking for a fine dining restaurant with breathtaking views of Prague do not look any further. Actually, I think there must be something wrong with the tripadvisor algorithm if it allows Zlata Studne to slip out of the top 10. I can recommend the marinated lobster as a starter and the duck breast as the main course.... More

My partner and I went for our anniversary. The staff were all charming (and LGBT friendly which we had worried about), and went above and beyond. The surroundings are lovely - beautiful views on a winter night, lovely tables and an intimate feel. Building is hidden away in a glorious alleyway and ancient building tucked under the castle. The food... More

This restaurant has it all... I must say the food quality is extraordinary, the service is extremely friendly and the views are unbelievable. For appetisers we ordered some pumpkin soup and I ordered the Tum yung soup - both were amazing. For our main courses, we ordered the deer fellow steak, duck breast and the beef fillet - all were... Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighbourhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
