This cafe/restaurant is worth the visit just for the spectacular interior. It's very much an old world restaurant with a smallish and traditional menu. The food is excellent as is the service. One of the highlights of our trip.

The food is traditional Czech recipes with modern twist and some dishes are international. Light salads with creativity and good meals that will feed the hungry! Whatever you order, you will never be disapointed-because the way they prepare the meals is a proper one, without...More

We booked a table some time in advance for dinner and will recommend you do the same as the restaurant was full during our visit. We ordered French onion soup which was thick, delicious with cheese and bread soaking in the soup. If you’re a...More

Cafe Imperial was our best meal in Prague. The place is magnificent with porcelain walls and columns. The food is perfect. Reservation is mandatory.

After a lot of walking today, we stopped at Cafe Imperial for lunch. What a treat!! The architecture, and ceilings with frescoes and tile were just beautiful. The food and service were outstanding. The homemade bread is more like small pretzels, and they serve with...More

There are hundreds of restaurants in Prague, but we ate here twice in one week, which tells you something! Thoroughly enjoyed the duck dishes. The bread dumplings were a wee bit on the heavy side - I couldn't finish them. One night I enjoyed Poppy...More

I don’t know but at the restaurant most people were dressed in a business casual mode while a few were in jeans and some very nicely dressed. I would think it would be on the dressier side for New years Eve
