We arrived here on a Friday evening after wandering around the Old Town. We had a 10-15 minute wait for a table which I found to be the case in most places around the town. We were a party of four people. The place is...More

Good enough to have dinner here three times in seven days. First was in big hall on street level. Yummy hamburger and great beer. The we discovered the upstairs space, where Oldgott and X33 beers are brewed and served to accompany a selection of czech...More

The meat was cooked very well. But we weren’t wowed by any of the flavors. We didn’t hate it; but wouldn’t return. It was clean, friendly and just fine.

The host that greeted us at the door was most excellent. He had us wait a bit for a more private table... rather than seat us at one that was immediately available in a main path of traffic. My husband's pork schnitzel was excellent. I...More

We stopped in for a quick lunch and to get out of the freezing cold! The pork schniztel was not cooked, and came very pink. I sent it back and it was remade properly. Food taste/quality was fair at best. Would not go back.

Stayed there with a coupe of friends. Although the beds could have been a little better, everything in the room, hotel, and restaurant was very neat and clean. ALL of the staff was very helpful with any questions we asked. They even tried to help...More

Had the roasted pigs knee which was outstanding; huge portion and expertly prepared. Came with a good mustard and excellent horseradish. The brewery has been around since 1466 and produces interesting brews that may not suit the palate of inexperienced beer drinkers; especially those who...More

Friendly staff, good atmosphere and we were amused to be sat in an old copper tun. The beer was good and encouraged by the waiter we tried a few dishes. The pig tails ( not actual tails ) were a little tough but the flavour...More

Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents
the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is
bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický
square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle
in the background, is probably the most beautiful
square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere
of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and
squares, and stone towers blend together with the

Pretty sure I didn't pay cash for anything in Prague in fall 2015. Found them to be very credit card friendly. Almost certain medvidku takes cards.
