Visited with a party of six, we found this place by chance and were glad we did. Greeted by friendly staff and were given a table very quickly. We ate inside (you go down a lot of steps) and were greeted by live music. The food was delicious with gluten free meals found on the menu. If I was in... More

Most of the time if you want to dine in a city square you sacrifice quality or price. Not so at the White Horse in Prague. Dinner our first nice was just what we were looking for, I was very hungry and my wife in the mood for a light meal. I had the duck confit and it was excellent.... More

On April 22, my wife and I went to this restaurant. According to my observations, completely unfriendly and arrogant staff. In the bill include a fairly large service charge, this is not a problem for me, just for information. The waiter tried not to let me go to the toilet, although I paid for my order.

We were recommended this restaurant by family. The atmosphere is fantastic, the food was too. Our first night in Prague and considering this restaurant is in the old town square it's inexpensive too. Don't be fooled, ask for a table in the cellar as this is where the live music (Allison didn't stop singing along), where the atmosphere is unless... More

I was really impressed by this place. The service was excellent and I appreciate that the staff was well-prepared, polite and spoke a very good level of English. We went for a Jazz night and the atmosphere was lovely. Not to mention that the cellar looks as if you are in the 12th century (except for the decor, of course).... More

Went here the other day. Food was in small portions and was poor. Should be called the white donkey if you ask me. Over and out.

We walked into this restaurant to get out of the cold and rainy weather. What a pleasant surprise. We chose to dine in the cellar which was a great choice. The service was excellent, the wine was very palatable and the food was simply delicious. We were not rushed by the staff as we spent a couple of hours visiting.

This restaurant is one of the most unique places we have visited. Set in an 11th century cellar the ambiance is incredible. The waiter recommended the duck. I am not a fan of duck but this was one of the best meals I enjoyed on my entire two week trip. The duck tasted like dark turkey meat and the gravy... More

The highlight of this restaurant is its location. We got a table outdoors (on request) and it was an enjoyable first meal in Prague, watching other tourists buzzing around Old Town Square. The food was good, nothing spectacular.
