We found this place after a friend recommended it to us. The food was very good, fairly different than mexican food. I would have to say this one was probably better. Well done

Guacamole was satisfied Eggplant topped with Mozarella: OK Mushrooms in garlic: In sum: 2 mushrooms in hot oil with garlic & chili To less ... taste OK Grilled Prawns: 5 little pices of prawns. Not prepared. Not medium grilled- 2 p. been raw. I complain that. They just grilled it... More

Tapas are from spanish word "tapar" - to cover. They are just small bits of food to taste. The prawns you compained about were grilled ok, but the black tiger prawns dont change color as the other kind of prawns do. What we did is that we just overgrilled your prawn and such as it was probably quite dry. I... More

Food was good, service great! Plenty of seafood in paella, prawns were good, big portion of nachos, nice sangria. My friends liked their wine choices and food, so did I.

Came for lunch and sat in the pretty courtyard. Prague owner but Spanish chef. Excellent tapas and lovely wine to match. Owner and wife (from Guatemala) are very friendly and aim to please. Lovely after walking around the castle area. Thank you x

Was truly disappointed. Food ok , not memorable as far as the Spanish I've had before. Good central venue in the Old Town. Service by the waitress is very very slow. I wouldn't rush back but wouldn't run away either.

A bit hard to find restaurant in the city center but it was worth it. Very nice staff and the food was good. Mind you, comparing this food to anything you would find in Andalucia would not be fair to this place and considering that finding good Spanish food outside of Spain is near to impossible, then El Centro will... It's always nice when myself, my husband and three kids really enjoy their meals. The paella and sangria were amazing. Staff was nice and food came out quick. My kids ate tacos and we shared lots of tapas. I would eat here again the next time I visit Prague.

Nice tapas stop on way from Prague Castle to Lennon Wall & Kampa Island. We stopped here for a bite to eat mid-afternoon, staff were v.friendly and accommodating, food was nice & tasty, authentic 'tapas'. Overall a pleasant experience and good value too.

Had Paella here, it took around 35 minutes for them to cook it. I must say it was worth waiting for it. Delicious. Would love to come back to Prague just to have Paella from here again😘 Keep it up!!

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
