I stayed in an AirBNB nearby and was lo king for somewhere local for a glass of wine and a bite to eat. I was amazed at the wine list, the best I have seen in Prague. The food too was very good indeed, a wonderful find that should rank much higher on TA.

Rather classical Italian restaurant proposing fine Italian food, other than spaghetti and pizzas. The choice is sufficient but the service is very slow. We were eight and arrived just after noon. The restaurant was far to be full. However, and after placing our order, we had to wait one hour and half to get our main course, it was nearly... More

The food was in itself decent, but you need to have some time on your hands to eat here. We had to wait quite a while to order, then a long time to get the meal served. You do get enough bread while waiting, though, but it turned out it was not complimentary. Even though we never asked for it... More

Best Italian in Prague! Great service, beautiful food and a rustic environment. Would highly recommend the pistachio pasta dish with the port wine!!

Not the usual spaghetti bol and pizza. Slightly more poooosh dishes. Leans on side of fish. My tomato pesto soup and pasta were very good. The rest of the party was happy and the service was excellent. Took our coats, poured our wine.

Me and my friends dine there every time we come to Prague. The staff has been always friendly and accommodating both when I am alone and with friends, Two days ago we had a nice dinner for 4. I particularly recommend seafood pasta, wild mushroom pasta, and ravioli with ricotta

Visited on the 19th of September 2016. Nothing Italian about this restaurant, except for the flag and the continuous Laura Pausini singing in the background. Bread was brought on the table but no where on the menu was it specified that it was going to charged.Waited over an hour to be served. Small portions and were too oily.

Party of 8 in an empty restaurant, waited 1hour and 15mins for the food which mainly consisted of oil flushed pasta. The food itself wouldn't have been so bad even though it was lukewarm when it arrived had it not contained so much excessive oil. Price range is good but I believe they mainly focus on fish. Staff kept bringing... More

As a party of 13 we visited this restaurant. They welcomed us and re-arranged tables so we could all be seated together. So far so good. ~downhill after this. It took almost 20 minutes to get a drink. Then our starters took 45 minutes from order to table (4 soups same flavour, 1 salad, 2 snails). After another hour our... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
