We ordered few steaks, 1 salad and 1 burger. All the products with meat were "so so". Burger patty was hard like a rock and tasteless, the flank steak was really chewie. Unfortunately the quality of food did not match the price.

Went in here on Christmas Day because we had to book somewhere and it looked decent. The beer is nothing to write home about mainly being Staropramen and other industrial beer which is a shame with so much other stuff around. The surroundings are quite nice and very rustic but all in all makes for a comfortable place to eat.... More

Pleasant surprise between one train and another. We left the train station and stopped at Sherwood. First good surprise is that they had no issues with a 40 kg dog entering the restaurant. The answer "yes, sure we accept" was given with a smile! The 1/2 duck leg was superb!

Popped in here while in Prague. This restaurant was just up the road from our hotel so very handy. The staff seemed mostly friendly and the service was quick. We had steak which was delicious. We also had cocktails which were good as well. The only thing that let it down was that everyone in there smoked. Now I know... More

We had a duck with a dumplings. It was nothing special, the duck was little dry and waiter said they was sorry but they bought cheaper duck because of money (I understand why). We had also soups, it was quite good. The staf was kind.

The food of medium quality, only one sort of local Czech beer (!), who is keen in Prague drink Stella??? Service staff however nice and friendly. For me - never more until they will offer foreigner beers!

Didn't have the pork knee so we order a traditional meal suggested by the waiter. To our surprise , they brought the wrong dish. The waiter said we were wrong!!!! He just left the plate in front of my wife. Later they exchanged it, but she had to wait for the new one. Almost in the end of our meal,... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
