Total rip off from start to finish with inedible mush on the plate served up as fine dining. Worst service and food I have ever experienced in my life. Very disappointing.

So there are 2 restaurants here. The café upstairs and the fine dining restaurant in the cellar. The atmosphere in the cellar is incredible. We booked an early dinner for what would have been American Thanksgiving. We were 2 families of 4 and I have to say that sometimes means we get ride service. Not here! Our children were treated... Booked here for 24/12/16 over the internet, because it offered food and music on Christmas Eve ( It can be difficult to find a place for this night as many Czech businesses still close for this traditional family night of celebration) Located in the Old Town Square I rather feared it would prove a tourist trap but was wrong, The... Went for the "jazz" live music that turned out to be just an acoustic performance of pop songs, and we were convinced by the hostess that they offered a menu that consists of a main course and a beer for 315 CZK. My partner took the menu and had the small beer and the mediocre food but was later charged... More

We ate here on Christmas Day and I was a little skeptical when we first walked in as it seems like a normal cafe from upstairs, however down the steps at the back is the most beautiful vault restaurant. I had delicious steak for main from the Christmas set menu. The staff were friendly and the live music was brilliant!... More

The restaurant is in a spaceous basement with arches supporting the ceiling and low lighting providing an old world romantic atmosphere. This was a New Year package commencing with a glass of prosecco. The starters were fixed and the mushroom soup was excellent. There was a choice of mains between rib eye steak or duck breast. I went for the... More

We booked this dinner for Christmas eve and were very disappointed. The service was poor, the food was blah and the price was way inflated. The wine my husband had smelled like bad perfume and tasted even worse, the prosecco was served in a hot glass and the meals were overly garlicy and cold. In addition they brought our next... More

This is a Jazz and Blues cafe. Really good and different music with good food. Service is quick. The price is also on the reasonable side. You can sit for a long time listening to the awesome music then wander off outside and visit some tourist destinations.

We were eating at "good" restaurants which were not in the old square ( the ones you usually choose to escape the crowds) and they were not as good as this one. Good service, good food with good presentation, excellent views and a good value for money. I totally recommend it. There is also a daily menu.

We have recently opened our new cafe – Cafe Bily Konicek (Café White Horse). The café is a part of the hotel and has an independent entrance to the Zelezna Street. . The café has been designed within the same tone as is carried throughout our hotel - white walls, painted with a white ceiling, with very modern looking styled white tables. It could easily be compared to the John and Yoko Halcyon days of 1969. The café great big large street level windows and is a Romanesque design of cellars and vaults. Similarly like the hotel, this part of the building is also a part of the UNESCO Heritage list.

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
