I like location (only parking is not very good) and the place as well. They do good coffee, stuff is very careful, internet connection is good and I did also some events for bigger groups there and they were very flexible and events were successful.

Perfect place to work and relax during the day. Perfect spaces and beautiful photos on the wall. Coffee ok, delicious dessert.

This place is great if you want fresh, delicious coffee and superior Wi-Fi. Unlike other cafes in Prague, the coffee fills the cup. I've been many places where the mug is only 1/2 to 3/4 full and most of that is foam. The service is great. If you're coming in here to work, be considerate and order something every 60... More

We turned this great little (little from the outside, big on the inside) coffee shop into a regular hang out while we visited the beautiful city of Prague. Because we both needed to stay somewhat plugged in to the office while we were away, finding Friends Coffee House gave us a comfortable place to sit, login using their free WiFi,... More

Following a recommendation in our lonely planet guide we found this place round the corner from our hotel. An unassuming place with friendly staff, reasonable prices and a nice ambience. We were recommended for breakfast though for the English traveller there were limited breakfast options. The cake looked nice however it was too early for cake! Worth a pop in... More

I've been traveling the world for 14 years and I go to coffee shops frequently. After 2 years of living in Prague, and many times visiting this coffee shop, I must say that it is only an AVERAGE coffeeshop. Yes, the coffee is good, as well as the cakes, but that is really all. For me, the sandwiches were rather... More

This is a lovely coffee shop with internet and pastries. You can sit in a nice atrium next to a fountain or on more comfortable indoor couches. A great place to reload.

I was told to come here to do work however every 30 minutes I was approached asking if i was staying or leaving and then forced to buy things. While this cafe is great for meetings, it is not a place for doing work or enjoying the cool/hip ambience. The service was also poor and the lemonade I ordered was... More

Thank you very much for your opinion. We would like to confirm that our coffee shop is among other things also a great place for work - however customers who use our coffee shop for work should willingly and reasonably frequently order our products (like freshly roasted coffee, sandwiches, salads and cakes). Sometimes people confuse our coffee shop with a... More

Fantastic coffee and a beautiful interior. From the outside this cafe appears smaller. After entering, it opens much further back into a stunning glass enclosure. The food prepared was wonderful and the staff were professional and friendly. Highly recommended.

Whilst this is not the cheapest place in Prague (65 Kc Americano, 99 Kc Panini), it is worth paying for thanks to the relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, ample seating (with 3 varied rooms) and excellent coffee.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
