Traditional Czech Food with an excellent Service. A must go when you want to experience traditional Czech Cuisine.

We took lunch in this place, local food was very tasty and cheap. Staff was nice and friendly despite it was a bit crowded there... Christmas Eve and all this stuff :-) Also I liked the location of this restaurant - close to Karlov Bridge and other attractions but still slightly apart from them, so you can take your meal... Order the garlic soup. If you like garlic, you'll love it. The side dish of potatoes were wonderful. #45 the beef goulash was tasty. The #46 chicken goulash, not so much. Our waiter was so nice and our food came quickly. Free wifi. The place is small but quite cozy and nice. Brick walls add to the ambience. Location was... More

We went here just for beers and they were well kept. Although it's difficult to comment on the food as we did not try it, I did look at the menu and it seemed quite extensive and reasonably priced. What seemed t o sell it to me was the friendliness of the owner and the constant stream of people using... More

Food was of poor quality and you can definitely find better deals in prague. Portions were small and "beef" was more like a stew. I would advice to avoid the bread dumplibgs that come with nearly every dish. Also while paying the waitress "forgot" to give our group money back, which even worsened our experience.

The food was cheap, 300 (about 11 €) for the whole menu. Unfortunately the "beef" i ordered was soggy and small and the french fries stiff. The waitress also tried to scam some of us by not giving enough change back. A bad experience.

Achat is at Old town of Prague, hidden at one of the corner from the busy street. Its more a local place for Czech. Serve really good local food! Duck, Steak all are good!

This was a very nice, cozy. non-touristic restaurant on a side street next to the Marcus bridge! The portions were huge, of excellent quality. The meat (smoked ham, pork and duck) was tender and juicy and the dumplings were a great side to the gravy and cabbage. The amount of food they gave was really great for the amount we... More

We had pork neck, bread dumplings and sauerkraut. The pork was a bit fatty. The dumplings were fine, but we prefer potato dumplings. The Apple Strudel was very good.

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
