If you're in Prague and fancy a curry (and you may well) then the Pind is where you should go. The restaurant is in a cellar, the decor and atmosphere are lovely. Service is friendly and helpful. Lots of choice on the menu and they have an allergen menu available which is easy to follow. The food was well presented... More

This little restaurant offers a buffet and a'la carte Indian food. We've visited them for lunch. Although they had only chicken (two varieties), their Dhal curry was superb! There were other great stuff such as Roti, Chickpea, salad, popadoms etc. The ambience is quite nice, and the staff are polite and helpful. (and they do speak good English). Drinks are reasonably... Being from Leicester, I sometimes struggle to find good Indian food elsewhere, but I can definitely say that the Pind got it right. My British Indian friend gives it his personal approval too, which certainly helps! We got a lunchtime buffet, which for 155 CZK was an extremely reasonable choice. The dishes on offer were varied, with plenty of veggie... More

Our hotel was close by and we tried this restaurant for our dinner. Friendly staffs, very pleasing ambiance. The food, must say.. Yummmm. Can not describe the food in other words. If you like spicy, do try their Chilli Garlic Naan. Good option for vegetarians, specially the Saag Aloo and Veg Biryani. We were in Prague for 4 nights and... More

In a country that frequently shies away from bold flavors and hot spices, The Pind makes fearless choices. Spirited dishes with striking flavors served in a quiet restaurant by very considerate waiters. Outdoor seating is available during the warmer months, and The Pind offers a great (and very reasonably priced) lunch buffet.

Your search for the most perfect veggie Indian food is over, here it is, in charming Korunni street - the best food that is so good (ad spicy) it brings tears to you eyes, you can't order wrong here. Very friendly staff and moderate prices. Lunch is extremely affordable with all you can eat -policy. Go for the lentils, nothing... More

Overall amazing food and service at this restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here and it was well worth the travel across the city for a good indian meal. We will definitely visit again when in Prague. Highly recommend.

As a vegetarian this is one of my FAVORITE places to eat out in Prague, so many choices for me. The authentic Indian food and spices are incredible, with the lunch buffet being my favorite in Prague. I have tried many Indian places around but none compare to The Pind. The staff is extremely warm and welcoming and their ability... More

I'm regularly visiting this restaurant with a few friends sharing a taste for Indian cousin with me. We have trialled quite a few Indian restaurants in Prague to go for lunch. The Pind is the best one in the long term. It has the best selection of vegetarian meals - four a day, most of them delicious and excellently spiced.... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Vinohrady & Vrsovice
Compared to the medieval heart of Prague, this neighbourhood standing on former vineyards developed very quickly in the first decades of the 19th century. Today, it is the place where everyone wants to live, and those who do, are proud of it. With its amazing parks, classicist houses, terrace cafés, artsy bars, cozy restaurants, markets, and vintage and trendy shops, it is a home for people from all around the world. This area blends expats, families, bohemian students and Prague’s hip community. It is a great place for breakfast in the morning, the best lunch places and a buzzing night life. After sundown, stroll down to Vršovice, the new center of the hipster, alternative and gay scenes in Prague.
