I had an excellent dinner at Pepe Nero. I started with a caprese salad, and the mozzarella was very fresh - definitely house made. I followed that with the gnocchi alla sorrentina, which was tender and light, and again, clearly house made pasta! They have a good wine selection, too. The service was fine...typically "European" which is more hands off... More

The restaurant has a basement that can accommodate big parties. The staff was friendly and did a great job with our 8+ group. There are options for all ages and tastes. Wine is good and the fondant au chocolate is amazing! Pizza and pasta are the speciality.

We visited on a Saturday afternoon during the busy easter days. Our lunch was excellent and the quality of the ingredients was apparent in every dish. Welcoming and warm atmosphere. A great and authentic Italian place.

The owner of the restaurant was not friendly. He only spoke with 2 words if you know what I mean. The pizza with the salmon was tasteless and he took our plates even when my friend wasn't finnishd yet with his pizza. The other waitresses were very friendly, that is the only positive thing I can say about this restaurant.

Stopped for lunch after few days of heavy European food. All the dishes were simple, fresh and tasty. Staff was welcoming, the waiter recommended on a nice wine and the bill was reasonable.

Last summer we took a seven-city tour through Italy, and I think I found a little slice of Italy in Prague. The pasta is al dente, the gnocchi are like tiny pillows, and the pizza is authentic at Pepe Nero. One can tell the owner goes out of his way to make his guests feel at home as he greets... More

I found this place online simply because I was looking for something within a very short walking distance. I asked the concierge at our hotel about the restaurant and they said they couldn't recommend it as they had no dealings with the restaurant. And to be honest, the photos online don't do it justice. Frankly, I wasn't expecting much. But... More

The pizzas were good but not amazing, good value and friendly staff, handy location too, over all quite satisfied.

We arrived in Prague about 8 pm on a saturday night and needed to get a quick dinner and to sleep since we had been up for 24 hours by that time. This restaurant was across from the hotel and so we dropped our luggage and walked over. Popular place with younger crowd (collage age and young professionals). Great service... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
