Searched for over 30 minutes to find this and realised there were two Jama's in Prague. We both had starters and burgers. Starters were perfect and reasonably priced. The burger for me was on the rare side which annoyed me a little as they didn't ask how I wanted it cooked. The beer was nice but they were charging the... More

Everybody agrees I'm right that good steak should be tender and juicy. That in not about Jama steakhouse. This piece of rubber was made of veins and tendons. Photo attached. Maybe next time Jama's employees will figure out how to use trim knife. Along with charcoal potato fries it is horrible. On the scale from 1-10 it is -10.

This hidden treasure is a bit out of the way, but take your time to find it and discover the food! Especially the black angus steak is a real must-have! Accompanied by a good pint of beer of course, what else?

Have eaten in the Jama many times and also taken out food many times before. Decided to,order two portions of the Jama chicken wings. Well what has happened, the size of the wings have dramatically reduced in size. When we opened the boxes were was so shocked to find 5 tiny wings.Value for money extremely poor.

One of the nicest steaks I've eaten. Get to add a complimentary sauce, the pepper sauce was delicious. Wide choice of cuts, with recommendations on how they're best cooked. Lovely little place!

Great steak at this place but it said on the menu "all steaks served with fries". We asked for a side and received no fries. I asked the waitress who who informed me abruptly that they were coming! Well they never came and at the end when we asked for a discount, the waiter very rudely told us that no... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
