I would highly recommend La Rotonde. The food was excellent, wonderful flavours and textures. The Staff were spot on with everything from service to knowledge. The hotel Radisson blu Alcron is in a great location near to the main square, shops and metro. All of the main attractions are all within walking distance . The rooms are spacious clean and... More

Had breakfast in la rotonde for two days since I was staying in the Radisson. The selection was just astonishing. Pretty much anything you need for a breakfast. On the second day, I ordered the Benedict eggs which were served in a verrine. A quite innovation but not to my liking. Otherwise, everything was perfect. A great start to fuel... More

Stayed in the hotel and booked dinner here for my husbands birthday. They looked after us very well. Delicious food and great service. Will definitely return.

We had breakfast twice during our stay in the Radisson. The service is very good and breakfast selection is amazing. Furthermore the staff is not rushing you when it comes to the end of breakfast time what happens a lot in other hotels.

Enjoyable, but not memorable meal. The thing that decreased the score from a 4 was that the restaurant felt rather cold in the evening of a warm and nice spring day. The waiters tried to compensate for the environment. Overall it is a good option if one wants to avoid going out in the evening.

We came here to celebrate my birthday and we had a wonderful meal. We had a 5 course taster menu and we loved everything - the food was absolutely delicious. The service was also very good, the waiting staff were very attentive and informative. Also, we recommend getting a cocktail after the meal - they are unique and delicious!

We had a very enjoyable meal. Each course was excellent. The decor was a bit cold, not really inviting. Our server was pleasant enough but seemed a bit inexperienced. And it was a bit cool, perhaps because it was so bitter cold outside. But overall it was time well spent.

We had expected more from this place. It wasn't bad, and the wines were excellent, but we waited too long to get a table in a half empty restaurant, and one of the main courses was drowned in red wine sauce - so much I couldn't taste the meat ... All in all not the top of the town!

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
