First place we visited after we checked in as this was around the corner and we were looking for food. For just over £5 IN TOTAL we got two main courses and 2 beers. Staff make you feel welcome and treat you no different to the locals. Food was excellent pub grub and beer was the best we tasted in... More

We visited this bar a few times whilst on our trip to Prague. The beers are very reasonably priced, as is the food. I tried the chicken wings. Great value. On a separate occasion we had the pork knee. Very tasty. Our server was friendly and attended to us very well. Would definitely return.

We found this place by accident as we headed back to our hotel and we wish that we had found it earlier in our stay in Prague. The place is charmingly unique with oddments, ornaments and things everywhere. The welcome we received was genuine and warm whilst the beer was cold and good! We were also treated to a piano... I have recently stayed in Zizkov, and my 2 travelling companions introduced me to this bar, as they have frequented this bar, on a number of occasions and know the owner, who is a really nice guy. It's a real locals bar and was full of great characters and I enjoyed every visit. The place is full of interesting ornaments,... More

We enjoyed a fair few pints here when we stayed across the road in the three crowns hotel! Really really cheap and the staff were very friendly indeed. It was a surreal experience sitting in this pub / restaurant, but thoroughly enjoyable. It was rather like sitting in someones front room, very bizarre being surrounded by random 'nik naks', it... A great laid-back pub/restaurant, the owner is quite a character and the decor is eccentric to stay the least:) Nice bar food and good beer, also live music. Also seems to be a place where the locals go. Across the street is the hotel Three Crowns where we too stayed.

This is a great place to spend nice evening. Not too far from the center because of Zizkov. Not too big, climatic place for a beer and listening to music. Very nice owners and not too many tourists, but rather a place chosen by the locals. I recommend to visit, sit and drink beer and eat well.

This is tiny little (not more then 6-8 tables) restaurant, located in Zizkov (Prague-3) part of Praha is one of the typical local restaurants, which is not for turists but for citizens (opened usually from 17 o'clock till...... it depends on its owner :)), in summer it can be even till 4-5 o'clock in the night!). And that is why... More
