We visited this restaurant again. The beer is very good, tasty snacks for beer. We went for lunch - so particularly not eat and only drank a mug of good beer. Crispy bread with garlic - in my opinion - the best in Prague.

This restaurant is probably the best one in the neighborhood. Friendly service, extremely low prices and really nice atmosphere. Forget all the expensive and overrated restaurants by the Charles Bridge and try this one. I promise; You wont be disappointed....

A typical Czech food restaurant, they have a variety of dishes at very good prices. They serve Ferdinand beer on tap, which is very good, specially the dark one. I have been several times here and was always satisfied. For this last visit I'd like to remark the service provided by the waitress, who was very nice and helpful. We... More

If you're looking for an easy, casual dinner in Prague that feels a bit off the tourist track, this is a great choice! The location was right near our Air Bnb, so we thought we'd try it and were so glad we did!

We were recommended this place by a tour guide and it was excellent. It is in a doorway and there is just one sign outside but it is large inside. Excellent, good value food.

My brother and I had Goulash, steak, and one more dish that I don't remember. The beer was more than fine, just like other people said. But, my brother said the steak was not satisfying....Still, with the prices, they offered more than I expected. 한국 분들이 좋아하는 부드러운 스테이크는 아니었는데요. 식당도 깨끗하고 서비스도 좋구, 영어가 안 통해도 주문하는데 문제는 없었어요.... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
