We visited this restaurant during our trip in Prague. If you're going for a dinner, make sure to set up a reservation. For the lunch on the day we visited, the place was half empty so a reservation depends on your time of your visit. We picked the A La carte menu that includes between 4-5 dishes that giving you... Excellent service and delicious food. Food is very reasonably priced and extra little treats thrown in. Sommelier advises on a suitable wine and you are able to taste a couple before making a decision, these can be pricey so make sure you ask the price before ordering. Overall delightful evening, would thoroughly recommend.

We chose this restaurant with no specific expectations, and had an incredible experience- broad wine choice, amazing veal tongue that I strongly recommend as the Chef's specialty, nice atmosphere! We will come back again!

We had a wonderful Anniversary Meal at Art and Food Had. We did the food and wine pairing, it was a wonderful experience. The Food and Wine and Staff were excellent. The art covering the walls added to the experience and pianist playing live music added to the atmosphere.

We booked Art&Food about a week in advance for 6pm. We knew it would be quiet when we arrived (we were the only ones there) but it gradually got busier. The young lady who initially served us was very friendly and explained the menus well. I asked her to recommend a beer for me and her selection was very nice.... More

We visited this restaurant on a rainy Monday late afternoon and the cozy atmosphere warmed us up immediately! The modern art work and the generous wooden tables for 2 was like dining in an elegant home with michelin like food being prepared for us! The waitress was very helpful as we selected our wine for the main meal, as well... More

My bf and I visited Art&Food twice during our stay in Prague. The first time we asked our kind waiter to introduce us to some of the finer local brews and he did not disappoint, excellent stuff. For lunch we had the tortellini w cream cheese, and it was to die for. The second time we tried some of the... More

We came here for our last meal in Prague. We had repeatedly been impressed by the value of the food throughout the city and had high hopes. The atmosphere was nice (live piano music) but the food here was overpriced average at best. We also were not given a wine list and instead spoke directly with the sommelier who made... More

We found this small nice restaurant in prague as we were looking for a place where we could eat breakfast after noon. The service was very nice, the coffee good, the food (coming from local farmers) was fresh and had a very good quality. Very nice atmosphere due to the music from the 60s-70s and the art all over the... More

Try the modern adaptation of original Czech recipes along with international cuisine. All of our meals are prepared from fresh seasonal products while supporting local farmers. If you don’t want to miss beer in Prague, we have something special for you: about 30 types of exceptional beer by small Czech breweries. In case you fall in love with our products, you can get some of them directly in our restaurant like in the farmer’s markets. You might also take away the bottle of your favorite wine or beer, with 40% - 50% discount.

Full service event planning & catering.
What do we mostly care about? Highest quality ingredients, maintaining superior friendly service and meeting the wishes of our kind food lovers. Our team organizes events of all sizes and styles. From small, intimate sit down dinners to lavish weddings and large corporate events for your clients.

Live music every night.
From 7 pm to 10 pm you can enjoy live performances by local musicians.

Our restaurant is place where food, wine, art and music meet. That gave us the best inspiration for choosing its name. We are also an original art gallery with more than two hundred contemporary pieces by leading Czech artists. Enjoy your meal among the fine art paintings.

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
