Im writing this review as I found there were 2 din Giovanni's in Prague, this one and another one quite close to Charles bridge. Some of the reviews here are describing the other one I visited last night that was absolutely terrible and the worst restaurant ever and I fear this poor restaurant is getting bad reviews as people are... I was here in feb 2017, food was way less than advertised. Poor quality, and showing one price at the door, and higher in the menu inside. It is a no go. I would rather go to KFC, even when I hate that :/

Gorgeous pizza and pasta place, service quick and efficient, and food fantastic. Try the garlic pizza bread, disappeared in a heart beat after a morning of walking through lovely Prague.

I definitly believe you can find much better restaurant in Prague. If you have time go and find another one. But if ou side is cold and you need warm please then it is ok.

Hidden down a small passageway, this is a small, cosy restaurant. Some pictures lie and others don't. My wife selected squid after seeing a photograph of two huge squid, similar to those sold at beachside barbecues in Japan. The reality was somewhat different. The actual dish consisted of a group of little squid about three inches long, rather than the... More

I have visited this restaurant plenty of times in the last 5 years. The food is good enough. BUT this was the last time I will ever visit this restaurant again. I organized my birthday dinner there for me and my friends so I made a reservation for us and everything was fine until my friends who wanted to surprise... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
