Came with friends for dinner. Got really yummy food for great value. Delicious schnitzel and great beers. Lovely atmosphere and good service (mind you, we had our friends translating for us!)

I was there a few times and it was always good choice. Great kitchen, fast and friendly staff. It is necessary to make a reservation during the lunch time but it worth.

This restaurant really can prepare meet. To have a steak or meat of any kind cannot be a mistake! Once they change the beer brand, it would perfect!

A simple but cozy restaurant. Me and my wife had dinner there at the suggestion of our host. No regrets! The soup was great and the chicken wings invite to drink a few beers!

This restaurant was right in front of where we stayed in Prague. Our apartment owner recommended this place so we went there sometime around lunch. The place was very clean and well lit with natural light. We sat outside. I had the beer and I must say it was very good. I can't recall what food I ordered, I think... More

I've visited this restaurant at lunch. There are 5 lunch positions, rathet big variety(sushi, sandwich, chicken and so on). I've take striploin sandwich. It was the huge portion, very tasty and for the good price. I'd like to visit this place again.

The restaurant is my friend's favourite - I don't really know why, maybe because of the great location in the city center or good beer. Personally I have problem with the waiters, they are just typical Czech staff - not smiling, not even trying to be friendly. Food is average. Aprreciate seating outside, but you find much better places around.

I have never experienced such as arrogant behaviour!!! When booking table during lunch time via phone, staff rudely replied to me that I should talk in czech language (I am Slovak, but we used to be one country and there is not such a big differences so no language barrier) and he said: ,,I dislike your nation,,. This is unacceptable... More

When the owners do something about the ultra tacky 90s decor and unappealing (while clean) toilets, Pricny rez will get 5 stars from me. The food quality and staff friendliness is already there.

We booked a traditional Czech dinner of duck for four, arrived a few minutes early, and were quite put off. It is a seedy restaurant in a quiet, off-center location. The food was quite good, but the service was deplorable. And apparently locals agree that food is of good quality. But the service...... Tables are so small, but the waiter... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
