If you want a relaxed, refined classy meal in a lovely environment with wonderful staff who are expert at what they do then try the Palazzo. We have again eaten at this restaurant a few times during our stay in Brno. It's hard to use enough superlatives to describe the restaurant and the staff. Firstly the food is always excellent,... We stayed at the Barcelo and went half board so ate at the Plazzo every night. It did not disappoint! The restaurant itself is decorated beautifully with lots of mirrors and curtains draped to the floor. The staff are well trained and very polite and spoke excellent English. There was a wide range of dishes to choose from on the... More

Czech food can be refined and gourmet. We ate here after a long day of travelling and frustrations. We thought it would be pedestrian. It was not... the menu, though carefully worded, read as standard Eastern European fare... BUT... wow... It was traditional food, but not mountains of Carbs and glug.. It was tasty - very flavourful, expertly prepared and... More

For a hotel restaurant this one wins hand down. Elegant setting, great service, and food was delicious. I'm still dreaming of the creamy asparagus risotto - a real treat.

Staying alone last time in the Hotel Barcelo one night I went to the Palazzo Restaurant. I was surprised that it has only few tables and that day it was a bit uncomfortably, because short after I entered the restaurant a Chinese group left the restaurant and the waiters were more busy moving the tables and chairs than serving the... My husband and I have been staying at the Barcelo Brno Palace hotel for a week and I can't remember experiencing such a high quality restaurant in terms of surroundings, food quality and service within a hotel before. Everything about the restaurant is understated and discreet; there is no gaudy signage, no signs shouting special offers, no loud music or... More

We have eaten at the Palazzo restaurant at the Barcelo Palace Hotel Brno several times now. The environment is lovely, quiet, beautifully laid out with a quality feel throughout. The first thing you notice is the professionalism of the staff, they are highly skilled, friendly and accomplished at what they do. You are soon made to feel special and treated... More

After checking out some other dining options within walking distance, nothing on the menus appealed to me as much as this hotel restaurant menu. When I asked to be seated (early - to an almost empty restaurant), they said they were fully booked for the evening, but would accommodate me in the hallway. Sounds funny, but it was just fine.... On our way round Europe we decided to stop in Brno. We arrived late and what a surprise. Hotel looks amazing, the room is very large, and staff very friendly. We didn't want to go out for a meal so went directly to the hotel restaurant. Everything was perfect, the welcoming smile of our waitress which helped us to choose... More
