This was a lovely evening meal with two great friends during a long weekend visit to my wife's family and friends just before Christmas. It's a really nice pub in the centre of historic Brno and the food is really great! If you are looking for typical traditional Moravian food, it's a really great place to look. But they also... We stopped for a quick lunch on the way to the castle and were quite pleased we did. The beer (Urquell) was good as was the food, chicken schnitzel. We would definitely go back but probably not make a special trip. The restaurant sort of has a pub type atmosphere although lighting is good.

Great food at very reasonable prices-the schnitzel was superb. Very well kept tank pilsner urquell. Perfect.

Came upon this place whilst wandering around the road looking up at the castle. Initially went in for a drink but stayed for lunch, the food coming out looked fantastic and huge portions. We plumped for the Goulash soup as we didn't want anything to big. It was delicious and along with a huge chunk of bread just what we... More

The food is good, portions as well and there is a variety of Czech traditional dishes. Also the prices are quiet good and reasonable. Customer service is fine. Overall is one of the good restaurants in Brno.

Second year running at this restaurant - would certainly recommend the meat skewers. For a party of 6, with a main meal and lots of alcohol, the bill came to around £60. If planning to visit over a weekend, then I'd recommend you book a table. This is another restaurant that we'll be visiting next year.

The food was great. Great traditional Czech dishes. We went there twice and tried several dishes. Everything was tasty. There is plenty of room for a large party - there were 30 of us on the second visit. The service was much friendlier than many other restaurants that we visited in Brno.

It's a very nice restaurant which serves big portions for a great price. It's noisy and usually crowded but that can't be a problem. Recommended for everyone who wants to eat something delicious and cheap enough.
