I had here one the best mushroom soups ever. It's a traditional countryside style restaurant with basic food and suitable decor with bison's head on the wall as you would expect. Good food for the hungry traveller.

This inn belongs to the open-air museum located in Budy village, 7 km from Bialowieza. Some simple dishes from Polish, Russian and Lithuanian cuisine. The look interesting, but the taste was rather average. Anyway, good stopover in the forest sightseeing tour.

Very nice staff and owner. Food was good. Traditional Kresowe menu. We ordered Plemieni with meat and Baka ziemniaczna and Soljanka soup. The place is close to Bialowieza with a huge parking lot. Nice traditional decor. Outside there is a Skansen - a must see.

Nice place - sorrounding traditional woodden architecture. Big parking place. Staff - nice, but not very professional. They might try better. Food - good, but there is a room for improvement. The cost-effectiveness ratio - undoubtedly might be better.

We took soup and wareniki. Soup was thin, small and expensive (15 pln!), wareniki (5 pieces for 30 pln!) were from the freezer and fried, meaty, but they were not tasty + salad assortment not made at the spot but bought done already. The service...was poor + it's written on the doors you can pay by pay pass, but in fact charging a card was impossible due to the faulty internet connection with the terminal.More

Fresh ingredients, traditional recipe, stunning location and love of the tradition and local customs expressed by the owners, one of the best fresh food I ever tried.

Another visit, this time summertime with overnight stay and we've enjoyed every minute, loved the food (as much as 50 other people from our party), we've tried everything from soljanka soup, cold meets, pielmieni (all 3 kinds!) to hot meets and marcinek. Accommodation was so...so lovely, we had the apartment with separate sitting area, comfortable beds and great bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful ( both restaurant and Dorota from reception). I would completely ignore the negative reviews as we've been at Siolo Budy twice now, and we've been very happy every time. Definitely coming back!More

Can't agree with a previous review, the dumplings we had were actually lovely, full of meaty stuffing and the local cake was amazing. Great service, very polite and attentive, all decorations in country, folky style. Did not stay overnight so can't comment on accommodation

The restaurant is located some 7 km from Bialowieza, in a kind of an open-air ethnographic museum. The huts, nice at a first glance, have very mediocre interior with furniture not antique, not modern, just tasteless. The waiter service was prompt and attentive but the...food... We gave a pass to a bison steak at $50 and ordered instead a mashroom soup and two varietes of Russian dumplings. The soup was so-so but the dumplings were barely eatable. The meat variety was dry but was supposed to come with garlic sauce... ,alas, the cook must have concidered the garlic sauce as the very expensive item since he chose to serve only one spoon of it (for a portion of 15 dumplings, $9) Shame. The barley and cottage cheese variety was a bit better but still rather bland ($9, too).More
