Had a great evening at Watra, ( well actually 2 evenings ). Large menu, not for the faint hearted meat eater. The selection is outstanding and I was extremely happy to find 3 pages of lamb / mutton on the menu. Lamb is not common in Poland. Watra also brew their own craft beer, ( I loved the Miodowe )... While you are in Zakopane, excellent restaurant to visit. Would you like to try domestic cuisine with very reasonable price, you will enjoy and for sure, come back. Great atmosphere and at night time live band available. Great deal about own produced beers. Very, very interesting.

Arrived in Zakpoane in late evening, looking for a nice place where to rest and try some Polish food. Impressed the grill grilling the meat just in front of the entry door. Typical Polish mountain atmosphere and forniture, waiters are not friendly and nice at all but looks nice is typical in Zakopane. "Golonka" (knuckle) its simply amazing!

Didn't eat here although the restaurant is huge like a beer Keller. Dance floor with band full of mums dancing with their kids. Not our scene as avoid kids on holiday. Been seen done and kicked ours out. Brew their own beer which is not as gassy as the well known Polish beers. Has a seperate bar but you are... More

We stepped by to grab a beer. And what a beer! Homemade honey one was so soft and tasty that we bought some to take it with us. Sitting next to a big grill (smells amazing) can make you hungry, so i ordered (some kind of bread/pies) with cheese and bacon with garlic butter. It should be only a snack,... More

We visited on Monday 20th Feb 2017 and all I can say is what a fantastic experience. We arrived as a group of 15 friends, adults and children. I had the Ireland steak and it was out of this world, cooked to perfection, their home made lager was great, total bill for 15 people and at least 4 drinks each... More

Good food... good music.... good beer!!! 15 people were well catered for, really good atmosphere, waitresses have good English, all drinks and food ordered were right! Waitresses seemed to be in a rush, when they called out the food in polish, if no one owned up to that dish they would just put it down where they stood... no patience!!!

We ate here this week as a family. It is great for crowds. We have eaten here everything we've visited but this time it wasn't great. The music is very loud, you can't have a conversation, would turn you off your dinner. So all in all, food was only ok & the music wasn't

This is a typical restaurant, the food is good and the beer is excellent. We had pork, lamb, fish and sausages, every plate was very good. The only bad thing is not to accept credit cards.
