First time I ate typical Polish food but I really liked it. The staff is very helpful and the place is very nice. If in the area and want to try something typical give it a try

This is a very nice place with a very warm ambiance. Food is really nice and well prepared. Price are a bit higher than the usual in Łódź but it is not a problem for a service and food of that quality

Went here for lunch as near the hotel. Quirky restaurant with large wood furniture and beams. Feels very traditional but modern at the same time Menu is excellent with great Polish food choices. Very meat/potato and rich heavy The food is very good if maybe a little too much for lunch Very friendly and helpful staff

I really recommend this restaurant. The food is very good, served in big portions, the prices are average. Very good ratio price/quality. The food might be a little bit heavy. The service is excellent, they pay attention to every detail. Kind and discreet. Highly recommended!

During my stay at the Holiday Inn I stumbled upon this classic style of pub. From the outside you do not really know what to expect, but after the first taste you have to love this place. They offer a traditional central european cuisine, sometimes a bit heavy. But it is very tasty and comes in generous portions. Their duck... More

We had dinner with 4 persons. All dishes were very good for very reasonable prices. We like that we could order typical local dishes. The personal was very friendly and noticed whenever we had wishes.

Wanted Traditional Polish food, for a table of 16 at pretty short notice and this place did a great job. Quirky 'wood cutters cottage' look with wooden statues from a Polish play stand outside and in, Nicknacks from the past and big wooden benches make for an interesting interior. Then the food, trays of bread with 'dripping' spread, salads and... More

This place is very close to the hotel where I am staying. The food is typical Polish with roots at the farms form the past. Everything we tried tasted very good. There is also some wild meat being served. The decoration is the high point.

I went there because it was #9 in Łódź. What a suprise - bad suprise. Potato dumplings (kopytka) were stiff outside but inside were ... overcooked? consistency was like pudding - i was suprised how it was possible to spoil such a simple thing like this. Friend of mine had "pommes de terre" and it was also terrible. Don't go... More
