Feels like home. Food is homemade and the family working there are so friendly. We tried the mushroom soup and the grilled calamari. Price is very moderate. Totally worth it.

Open during the winter season! Every dish was excellent! Tasted so good and comforting on this rainy wintry day. We ordered a seafood soup, baked scallops, grilled stuffed squid and seabass with mushroom sauce. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!

As suggested by a hostel that this restauramt is the best in town. I yotally agreed. The atmosphere is welcoming the staff are very helpful and attentive. It seems like here is the locals' favorite place too. I ordered a blow of Italian style fish...More

You need to book this place as it is very popular. Food is traditional, richly cooked local dishes. The tables are very close together, and this might not matter, but our meal was drowned out by a very loud and self-opinionated American woman. Service is...More

I ate here twice during my short stay in Piran. The mushroom and potato soup had that "made by grandma" taste and the grilled sea bass was delectable. Second visit the calamari was like I've tasted many other places, but the panna cotta with berries...More

Pri Mari is a small fish restaurant with a warm décor, run by a friendly Slovenian/Italian couple. I had a very tasty lunch here, with stuffed squid as main course. And it is not an expensive restaurant : 23 euro for a glass of wine,...More

While the food was quite ok (nothing special, though), the service was absolutely terrible! We were treated like intruders - not welcoming at all. Questions were not to be asked, answers not to be given, no suggestions, nothing. Not even a single smile for anyone...More

Very busy restaurant specialising in the highest quality fish cuisine. Service can be disconcertingly slow......for instance, our superb sea-bream came 35 minutes after being ordered, but we weren't made aware of the wait nor offered any bread till we asked. The wait was worth it....More

Lives up to the recommendations. Carpaccio of sea bass, octopus and tuna was delicious (and a huge portion; easily enough for two). Grilled sea bream and Frito Misto were excellent. House Malvasia very good indeed. Lovely staff. You must go!

Such a gem. The baked scallops were super tasty and the grilled langoustines were out of this world. Also the truffle pasta was absolutely delectable. Couldn’t recommend this spot more!!
