We chose for this restaurant for the second time. We have been here 5 years ago and this time we came back again. We liked the food and the service which was really nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend it and will sure go back for the 3rd time there.

Great place with excellent location and delicious Hungarian food and vine. We liked this cafe so much that we visited it every evening during our stay in Budapest. We'll definitely come here again once back to Budapest.

Food was middle cost, so was it's quality. Tasted okay, but everything had been cooked too much so it was hard to eat so dry steak, chicken or potato tortilla.

My dish wasn't fresh!!! And all the waitress did was a simple: 'I'm sorry!'. The food is ordinary, the menu list is well-handled, the wine presentation was all with mistakes...I would say that it's that kind of restaurants which are working only for money forgetting about things like art of cuisine and restaurant etiquette. Hereat I want to remark that... More

Judging by other reviews, maybe we got unlucky on the night we visited. The restaurant was quite full, but the waiter was very nice. Our starters came and were ok. That's when it all went a bit wrong. Over in the far corner, the manager was entertaining a table of three people - either some family or someone he was... More

We were lucky enough to be served by the owner who also designed the menu. He was a lot of fun, a little pushy towards certain items on the menu, but I'm glad he was, because the meals he recommended where some of the best I've ever had! I've eaten out a lot all over the world so that's saying... More

Traditional Hungarian cuisine with friendly and helpful staff. We shared the Hungarian tapas as a starter and both had pork as main course. Hungarian white wine recommended by waiter. Pancakes and sponge cake for dessert. Delicious!

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
