All restaurants in Budapest serving traditional Hungarian dishes were sort of disappointment and this place is exactly what I was looking for. Burgers in Chimney cake as bread. The “burgers” were so delicious, the meat was perfect and very tasty chimney cake. It really made...More

The food is excellent. The host is awesome. We only tried the juice Lucy witch I heighly recommend is 1000 grams of pure goodness: caramelized onions and excellent cheese based sauce also 4 nice pieces of hamburger style mince meat. The taste is excellent if...More

The great market hall was extremely busy so we decided to have a look for another meal close by, Hoppacska jumped to the top and I remembered I saved it while researching Budapest so off we went. I had the gypsy pork special and my...More

My husband and I had searched what to eat in Budapest and the main thing we wanted to try was a chimney cake (and goulash). Well, Hoppacska served everything on a chimney cake, so we hit the chimney cake gold mine. As soon as we...More

It is not as cheap as other street food restaurants, but the sandwich worth’s it. We ordered the Hungarian sausage one, spicy version. Unlike other street food restaurants when they say spicy they really mean it. It really is a must of Budapest’s street food.

I had a really delicious sandwich with bacon jam or something like that. It was very unusual, but delicious. I didn’t get to finish it, because I ate outside and the wasps insisted on sharing. I didn’t mind at first, but eventually there was not...More

I decided to go to Hoppacska for lunch because it looked cool and had good reviews. When I arrived I was a little worried about it, because on the outside it looked like a plain, boring take-out place. I almost left but decided to go...More

Hoppacska is a representative of a unique and niche market segment on Raday street crowded in restaurants, bars and fast food places. Modest interior and wonderful hospitality is what characterizes this small place. The food is simply unique. The dough can be sweet or salty...More

Came in for a bite to eat after landing and the staff were great, friendly and easy to chat to. The food is down to earth and honest. No nonsense. We had the pork with mushrooms and the Spanish meatball. Just what we needed to...More

With our invention, we've put the traditional Hungarian chimney cakes into another dimension, come try it ;) On our Facebook page you find our opening hours, and weekly menu, because every week different offers we have. We have a small place, without tables and chairs, so you can eat your chimneys as you stand next to our counter.
