Went there for dinner today and mains around 3000huf plus garnish and drinks. The surprise is extra 45% on the top of the bill, not sure how comes, but expect that to be added. Nice place, cosy restaurant with nice food.

Thank you very much for taking time, and sharing your honorific review here! I dont know what the extra drinks! We will never charge you extra! True, not all foods included a side dish, but it is indicating the menu. The 45% extra tax not 45% also 18% -27% Hungarian food and drink (or-or) do not include any extra also... More

We were on the last night of our 4 day trip and many places were closed. We had passed this restaurant previously and thought it looked a bit out of our budget but on closer inspection it was very reasonable. We tried lovely hot soups first of all as we were so cold and then the goose liver dish was... More

We were suggested this place as the near-by Frici Para was closed for the holidays. The place has a very nice tranquil ambient. It's not big but it was packed with mostly tourists. Even though waiting for an hour for the 3 dishes we ordered seemed exageratingly long. The house red wine that came with our menu for 2 people... More

The atmosphere is cosy but our goulash was served cold and they were none too pleased at being asked to reheat it. Wouldn't go back

Came here as Frici Papa was closed and suggested us to go here. We were starving by the time we sat down and decided on beers and some food items. We ordered pizza and a medallion meat dish that had chicken, beef, and pork with a wine-mushroom sauce and potato-like patties. The pizza was very good and as was the... More

The starters were no top score; too little shrimps, mussels a bit uncertain but goulash soup was ok. The beers and water were good! The mains; bad..., except for the salmon. The "roasted" duck was chewing gum, with no taste and not prepared well at all. Even with twice treatments. No proper garnish ( only fried potatoes) and no recommendations... More

We walked in without reservations which seemed fine. Waited about 10 minutes for a table, very busy Thursday night. We were starving and the inside smelled amazing! After being sat, it took about 5 minutes for our order to be taken and another 2-3 for our drinks to be delivered. Then we waited, and waited and waited. The table next... More

Magdalena is just as the menu describes (see first picture) - an Italian flavored inspired restaurant with Hungarian classics. You'll fined all the Hungarian classics along with an extensive Italian menu. The restaurant is suited for couples but with all the menu choices there are plenty of options for kids and families (restaurant is suitable for all too). The atmosphere... More
