When there without a reservation. The waiter looked and talked to us like we were thieves. Literally one of the worst ways a waiter ever talked and behaved towards us.

Small family run restaurant just off the Jewish quarter with a mix of Hungarian/Kosher food. We arrived on spec in early May. It was busy but they made room for us. The menu is not vast but everything was appetizing- we had trouble choosing! What we opted for - a bean goulash, duck and honey glazed chicken with a plum... More

This place is worth looking out for. Honey glazed chicken with plum sauce was superb. Nice and relaxed and friendly.

This restaurant was part of our culture and food walk with Taste Hungary. The staff was lovely and the food was likely the best we had in Budapest. Our appetizer platter, containing goose "crackles", several spreads, peppers, and sausage, was outstanding. The breads were exemplary, the wine a great accompaniment, and then there was the main attraction: The cholent. What... More

Having grown up with a Slovak father, Chicken Paprikash was one of my favourite meals growing-up and still is, and the Chicken Paprikash here was the best I have ever had (after my dad's of course!...) My partner had the Goulash, and he said it was one of the best meals he's ever had as well. It's in a odd... More

Lovely little restaurant with a traditional Hungarian menu - food was good -large portions - we have chicken paprika which could have been hotter - but great friendly service

On a whim we stopped in on this restaurant near our apartment on a Thursday evening after a full day of touring. One of the best meals I've eaten in a long time in a very friendly and quaint atmosphere. Would certainly eat there again and recommend it to friends and fellow travelers.

We had dinner at Fulemule, expecting some special hungarian and jewish meals. We were satisfied in this respect. We did not like the surroundings, quite a god-forgotten street although not far from the city center. In the dining hall there was a heavy smell of food, of burnt oil which penetrated our hair, clothes and even underwear. This place needs... More

We have been just having dinner here. It is definitely one of the best restaurants that we found in Budapest. Very relaxing place and friendly staff. We had the pleasure of being served by Roberto, who helped us to choose the food and gave us some advices with the traditional dishes of the area. When the food arrived, it was... More

We went there for dinner one evening as we'd seen the restaurant featured in a tv-show a while back... The family is really friendly and the food was ok. The place lacked atmosphere though.. no low music in the background and you could here the microwave being used in the kitchen and soon after my gulasch was served. No one... More
