Good prices, good food. Not fantastic, but worth its money. Great variety of dishes and drinks. Buying a stew from 2000 forints, you are going to receive a very big plate. Usual interior.

This is an amazing, delicious find as a tourist. I could not believe my eyes when I entered this underground restaurant, what a treat and I had yet to dine! The food was fantastic and so was the service. I would have loved to try some of their other items on the menu. Until next time ... thank you!

Lovely, cozy place tucked in a cellar with friendly staff, good and a very inexpensive three course lunch meal. The dumplings in the goulash soup were a nice touch adding some richness to the plate. Two dollops of the red pepper paste gave it a nice heat. The paprika chicken was tender, tasty and a very filling main. The cherry... More

When you enter the restaurant, you directly feel the cost atmosphere. Not a typical touristic restaurant, local people local food. Try to order the real local food. The grilled meat was a little bit dry. The salmon was really salt. Unfortunately the strudel was not available anymore for dessert. If you want to try something local, you must visit the... More

Hungarian wine is nothing special and so that is nothing to crave for. But the food is nice and service is good, prices are insanely cheep. Recommended!!!

We lost a friend recently who just weeks before he unexpectedly passed away, gave us some suggestions for our visit to Budapest and Prague. Today we chose to honour him by visiting some of these places. Regos was his suggestion, and is a bit out of the way in the cellar of an apartment building, offering good solid local food... More

We ate twice here and the food was very good. The waiters were attentive and the prices are low for the quality you get.

My friend and I went to Regos Vendeglo to try some traditional Hungarian food, and we were very satisfied with our meals. The food isn't mind-blowingly gourmet, but it is pretty good when you consider the price. We each had drinks, entrees, sides, and desserts for well under $20. Definitely a great option for backpackers looking for something local.

We visited this restaurant because of the good reviews on being authentic Hungarian food. The food tasted pretty bad. The soup was so salty, I couldn't have any of it. The main dish and desert were disappointing as well.

Thank Sharon B
