I visited Mak bistro with my friends. The food was great and the wine was also great. They were very kind. I recommend Mak bistro to my friends whoever have a plan to visit Budapest.

Visited the restaurant after recommendations and were overwhelmed! Got the pleasure of talking to the sommelier that had good knowledge. Was talked in to lovely Hungarian wines instead of the "safe cards" and we are not disappointed. The food was rejuvenating and the experience was...More

Thanks for a great lunch. Including all the things that make going to a restaurant so nice as homemade bread, amuse, even one before dessert and great local wines accompanied by friendly staff.

We were staying across the street at Prestige Hotel and came for dinner after a river cruise. Helpful staff. Great food and wine. Best meal we had in Budapest. Highly recommended. Wine steward very helpful and engaging.

District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube,
with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The
Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica
stand out as two of the finest examples of
architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for
more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval
city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while
the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention
