Service was absolutely terrible. Food took ages to come, and although it was tasty, it was overshadowed by the fact that the waitress was appalling. After finishing our meal there was no offer of a desert menu, so when I called to ask - I noticed that she was sitting at the bar on her phone, eating. At this point,... More

Some friends told us about this pub and we visited it. One of the best burgers I have eaten in Budapest. Good choice for burger lovers.

This pub is in walking distance of Hotel Palazzo Zichy, where we were staying. My partner had the fish and loved it. I had a dish with fresh pumpkin risotto. I assumed the risotto was going to be mushy but it was yummy and the pumpkin was cubed fresh. We loved our experience at the Fiktiv Pub!

Our last meal, so stopped in for some goulash soup. Excellent service and lovely wine. Pity it's our last day as I would have definitely returned.

As an American staying at the Hotel Palazzo Zichy across the street, I felt perfectly at home here at the Fiktiv Pub. The restaurant looked inviting, and was open at 10:30pm at night on a Friday. The place was bustling, great aromas wafting from the kitchen, and cozily warm on a cold December night. I promptly found a seat at... More

Ate here twice whilst staying at Hotel Palazzo Zichy around the corner. Found a table here after the Matrojska was full. Good range of fairly basic meals but served enthusiastically and with lots of suggestions. Had the goulash soup on our second visit which was delicious.

Beatiful, delightful and precise waitress. Best steak i've ever had. Quality draft beers, whiskeys and handcrafted burgers. I truely recommend this place for a pleasant friendly conversation or even for a date.

Just stopped at Fiktiv as it is very close to our hotel (Palazzo Zichy), and we were tired after travelling to Budapest today. We just wanted a light supper, and it was excellent. Lovely goulash soup, great burger, tasty salad and nice beer. Service was also good, so a great first meal in Budapest for us. Well worth the the... More
