Borkonyha was one of the best restaurants we had dined in for our entire eastern Europe trip. Definitely a must try; bookings in advance are needed as the place is very popular.

From the moment we arrived until our departure, everything was absolutely divine. We started with complementary bread and butter (4 different types of bread - raisin, cumin, black bread and sesame). This was followed by another complementary dish - salmon and caviar in vinaigrette. Again,...More

This restaurant was first on our list and didn’t disappoint. The food is outstanding and half the price of what you would pay at home. The service was great too. It had a great atmosphere on a cold January night. A good selection of wines...More

Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube,

Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica
stand out as two of the finest examples of

more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval
city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while
the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention
