The Ice cream was tasty , but I think it’s over rated due to the rose shape and hence the pricing is high for the serving that they give. Not only is it beautiful, it's delicious. I love the incorporation of Hungarian flavors: plum, pear, poppy seed(not available right now). It has to be a hard gig - bend over, scoop small amounts of gelato and form it into a rose. I would be...exhausted after a shift and maybe they are, but the staff at Gelarto Rosa are delightful, kind, welcoming, and focused on service. Be brave, try a new flavor or two! Absoulutly a Beautiful Exsperiance . I realise it is just Gelato, but the girls form the ice cream in the form of a rose. 3 diffirent flavours. Just the care and passion is what I apprecite most.

Fabulous ice-cream, looking like a rose. Always busy here, as it's famous. We waited even 40 minutes in the queue once, but the kids were happy to wait, knowing how good it is. We always come here when in Budapest.

The gelato is excellent and the presentation is beautiful. Definitely worth the wait. The place can feel a bit hectic but it’s worth the long line. I recommend the mixed berry, chocolate, and pistachio flavors.

Easy to miss store in the shadow of St Stephen’s Cathedral, located opposite Starbucks. Good selection of ice creams, good quality and not overly expensive. What makes them different from the rest is that your ice cream is cleverly fashioned into the shape of a...flower on your cone, which makes it worth trying if only once. Service is quick even though there is usually a queue, payment is made first, then you exchange your ticket with the server for an ice cream. Due to the busy nature of the place you can feel a bit rushed when it comes to being served, so try to decide on your flavours while queueing (pistachio is good!).More

Gelarto Rosa has become something of a Insta Mecca for Gelato lovers, as the layered structure of the ice cream actually is very "grammable". Having said this the product itself is not just easy on the eye, but also the tongue, as the flavors are...unusual (try poppy seed), yet enyoable. This combination of view and taste has not stayed a secret, resulting in excessive lines in front of the parlour.
