A huge selection of Hungarian wines with very helpful bar staff. Don't forget there is a deposit on your glass which you can get back. We just had it taken off of the bill on our last round of wine. Great place to chill out and watch the world go by whilst having a bubbly atmosphere

Divino was recommended by a friend and we visited the wine bar near the Basilica. The space is welcoming and bustling but the concept is a bit confusing for the uninitiated. Eventually we figured out that you order your wine up at the bar and bring it to your table There is no line, you just stand at the bar... More

This bar, outsider it's good wine, offers what can described as the best Parma type sliced ham in Hungary. Trust me, you will not be disappointed¡ Ask for a table outside with a view to St. Stephan's Cathedral.

Our hotel was near the opera, so every day after visiting Budapest's highlights, we came here for a good glass of wine. Twice, we shared here a delicious plate of cheese & ham, because we were too tired to go to a restaurant. We liked the open air athmosphere and the easy going staff. Every time we had a nice... Super for a wine tasting visit at the end of a busy day. Rec'd by a local - ask for Tibi and you won't be sorry(although expect to pay $$)

Not what I was expecting from an allegedly hip wine bar. Overpriced and loud, annoying background music.

The wines are overpriced, as generally in Budapest. My white wine was not chilly enough, the promised 100 ml turned in to 50-60. The forced tips were 20% you re supposed to pay in advance. Guys, forget you re part of east block. Start to get westernized.

Good selection of wine, cool interior but also nice to sit outside. We were there in late afternoon so it was a bit quiet. Friendly helpful staff. Lots of good wines. But the interior had a disturbing smell from the toilet!

Gorgeous wine bar. Just the way it should be. Good-looking barmen add up to the picture. But the wine is overpriced. Almost 10€ per glass of 2011 wine is expensive in my view. Mind that they charge you for glasses as well. So better don't forget to return them to barmen when you leave. Definitely worth the visit, but not... More

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
