I entered the restaurant hearing a local band playing some amazing Hungarian music. I enjoyed my food (which was just OK) while enjoying the musical performance.

The food was real good, we had the mix plate with a lot of different Hungarian dishes. We were told it was good for the three of us but at least 5 people could eat from it. The downside for me was the live music. Good they were, but we could hardly hear the people we are dining with.

Simple. Close to my hotel. Best food experience during my stay. Food prepared by owner chef. I selected their homemade beef stew and was outstanding. Wine selection is over the top! Pricing was so low I had to ask chef for information so that I could make this review. For the area, a must go.!

Went to this place as it was close to our apartment. The waiter was very friendly and humourous and there was a band playing traditional Hungarian dances on local instruments, including what looked like an open top piano that was played by hitting with what looked like fur coated hammers. The food was great and the band were very good.... More

We found this restaurant which was close to our apartment. We where with 4 people and had the Hungarian feast. This is a plate for 4 to share with chicken, beef, pork, potatoes, cabbage and rice. It is enough for the 4 of us. The meat was prepared really good, very tasty! The potatoes where a bit crunchy with nice... More

We got a reccomendation to go to this place from our hotel clerk. It's a cozy little place, band is playing every night, they play pretty good, though I would say they should make some breaks in their music as it gets very loud when they play and hard to talk in such a small place. They have a large... More

Four of us shared this and it was SUPERB. OK it was a meat fest but cooked to a good standard and presentation was very good. The gypsy band created a good atmosphere and the waiter worked his socks off. A good find around the corner from the Actor Hotel where we stayed as part of our Newmarket break. If... More
