We've waited for 1,5hours for 3 main courses. Apparently, menu was sold out and have to order "a la carte". Then we had to wait for one and a half hour.

A selection of English and Hungarian breakfasts. It serves good coffee, wait staff are friendly and has reasonable prices.

We found the bistro by coincidence while we were searching for another bistro to have breakfast. At this moment we were very hungry and therefore chose to just go in. We ordered two wraps and they were delicious. The workers seemes like they still were a little bit tired, but they were all friendly. ;-) Aaaaand it was very cheap... More

Another day during lunch time I walked around Kossuth Lajos, and opened the door of this resto. The interior is modern and one wall is painted in a comic book style along with the talk bubbles and so. There are some waiters and all were busy, however they managed to take order for all customers in a good time manner.... More

Busy, popular place with young locals and tourists alike. Massive burgers and a good choice of coffee drinks and cocktails. Efficient service. Slightly noisy on the top floor, with sports channels playing on the TV screens. Wouldn't anime or classic cartoons add to the comic book theme? Just a thought. Enjoyable experience.

This is a great place to have breakfast. Hungarian food is great, but if you're looking for bacon and eggs you can get it here. The service is very wonderful but be warned that a service charge is included in your bill which seems to be the norm with restaurants in the area.

Our other choice for breakfast during our 2 week stay. Probably ate breakfast 6 times here. Asked for fresh OJ and got a 16 to 18 oz glass of fresh squeezed juice. It will be warm because they don't squeeze the oranges until you order. Great breakfast items

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
