Visited this place for lunch with my tour group. The quality of the food are of average with lots of soya sauce and a bit salty.

I took my Friends to this restaurant because we wanted to try something new. We entered the restaurant which was completely empty and we were told we couldn't sit anywhere as "all the tables were booked". One hour later when I walked by there were empty tables inside. Completely unacceptable behavior.

Intentionally ignored upon arrival and for as long as it took me to compose this review. Full of Chinese nationals (see attached pic) and I am 100% convinced that I was ignored because I was not Chinese. I wonder if Hungary has anti-discrimination laws?

The service is amazingly terribe at this place. The waiters performed us a full evening "show" (you will wait around 1.5-2 hours for the food, so really a full evening). To mention only the top 3: My friend did not get his main dish after 2 hours of waiting. Then after some argument they found the resoultion, it was that... More

This was a very bad experience Starting with the employees who don't know English and going on with waiting 1hour+ for the food. At the 50 minutes mark we asked the waiter about the food and the answer was "we have a lot of Chinese guests upstairs". Also when the food arrived, it wasn't all what we ordered so we... More

Ate here once and it was ok. Went back another evening when we could not get a table at Paprika and the waiter was in the process of taking our order, when there was a bit of commotion in the back and a Chinese guy came out ranting in Chinese and the waiter explained that there was a problem and... Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
