We went here twice on our visit to budapest. When you are up early sightseeing and home late socializing, you need an exceptional kickstart to keep you going. The coffee at Espresso Embassy is amazing and we even bought a bag of the kenyan casino mocca to take home. The pastries and desserts were delicous aswell. The swedish pepper pastry... More

Just great. Huge selection of coffee and pastries. We went here twice while we were in Budapest. It was the best cup of coffee. The first time we got a takeaway coffee and the second time we sat in. Both times we were very happy with our coffee and their staff were so helpful with suggestions. Go here!!

Really great location to get some work done on holiday if you need. I spent almost 8 hours here! You won't be alone on a laptop and you'll hear a variety of languages spoken. Great vibe - you can easily make a new friend or have a chat with someone before he scurries off with his/her coffee. Excellent coffee, too,... More

This is a small cafè in the heart of Budapest close to the Parliament and Bank Center. We had two mugs of cappuccino. The taste was incredibly smooth and fine! The atmosphere is very relaxing, with a bit of white noise.

Some years ago, at Saturday I had stopped in front of the place and looked inside. There were unique lamps, warm colours on furniture and divine coffee scent. Of course lots of people with cups&smiles ;) I decided to taste that world. I got a "coffee soup" and I realized that the coffee is made in coffee bars like EE.... More

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
