If you are a meat lover than Divin Porcello should be your place of choice. Fantastic atmosphere and convenient location with excellent service. T-bone I've had was absolutely mind blowing. Wine recommendation was spot on as well. Selection of raw veges was prepared exactly how I've requested. There is nothing I would change. Thank you for a great meal guys!

We stayed at the Budapest Marriott during our stay and we walked by this restaurant several times. We decided to try it out on our last day in Budapest. This restaurant is definitely for meat lovers and they serve a wide variety of cured ham, charcuteries and other meats. The wine selection has many Hungarian wines, which I did not... More

At first I was a little worried because I'm a local food lover. However, this restaurant turned out to be a quite unique one with local food and various ham and salami from local and international. The place was cozy and staff was very friendly and helpful. One of the best experience in Budapest.

we were having dinner in January at the Divin Porcello. the decoration is amazing, i really loved it. the food is amazing, we had the goulash soup and the pork sirloin - both were great. for desert - the chocolate cake and creme brulee were excellent. service was good, beside the fact that our wine was forgotten, but its ok.... Visited on Friday night, food and drink both delicious and a really great atmosphere. Our visit was made all the more special by a little black and white dog (Karcsi) that belonged to the owner's friend, really friendly and entertaining for the whole evening! We shared a mixed ham platter to start and then I had beef cheek confit with... More

What an absolutely accidental and wonderful find. If you want to experience a variety of high quality Hungarian meat with wines, this is the place. Excellent service and everything was delicious. Loved that we could see them carving the meat right before us too. Great for a lunch stop as you tour the sights as the location is fantastic. It's... More

On the second night of our trip, we had decided to go to the Italian restaurant that sits at #1 spot for Budapest restaurants. Having emailed to reserve earlier in day and making our way there- we were turned away as they were full. And thank goodness we were, as we wouldn't have otherwise stumbled across Divin Porcello! It's serves... More

We visited this little gem last week with my partner, and the atmosphere of this place was something that pulled us in. We usually avoid non-vegetarian restaurants, but a friend of ours told us to give this restaurant a go, so we did. The staff were really kind and attentive, they also had no problem accomodating our dietary choices, and... More

I am not one to go to restaurants in mid afternoon but on a recent Saturday in Budapest that is what I did with my wife and a friend. We wanted to eat something light and have some good conversation. So my friend said he heard of a good place to get some good snacks. We came to Divin Porcello... More

District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
