Great atmosphere, busy without being crowded. Good beer that you don't see in many places. Seating outside for the smokers and summertime. Busy area which is great for people watching. Staff aren't always friendly or willing-to-meet-you-half-way over accidents based on their understanding.

I had one of my best breakfast in my life. Just ordered a cappuccino and a bagel sandwich with scrumbled egg. Both was delicious. Btw.... my friend wanted drink an edelweiss but the keg was empty which was not a big problem at 10 am 😂 Ps: I'm not joking.... Everyone must try that scrambled egg bagel combo. I hope... More

Was hoping to grab breakfast at this great little cafe but they only seem to offer ready made bagels. Coffee is incredible, free wifi, great music, I guess I'll just have to subsist on the smouldering eyes of our waiter! *swoon!* 😍

Went here for a lovely brunch with my girlfriend, originally ordered a chicken salad, they didn't have that or any other salad. So I asked for 2 turkey crossiants with some extra sundried tomato, guacamole and bavont, however they only had sundried tomato, so no problem. But then it turns out they didn't have the crossiants either. Seems like a... More

Nice place to sit with friends and chat. Drinks are good (we didn't try any food so I cant tell about it) but the music is the best!

as a local "budapester" I can honestly say Kozpont is the coolest bar in the city and as it stands in its name, it is the center of Bp. I can go there day and night, with a laptop for working, for a concert at nighttime or have some drinks before party - or have more drinks and party there..... More

Started of our first full day in Budapest at Kozpont. Very friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere. The cheese/bacon/chicken bagel was delicious. Would recommend!

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
