Exceptionally helpful staff. Best meal we've had in Budapest. Big menu. Delicious wine. Left the place very happy. Thank you.

Upon arrival our hotel indicated this place for our first meal. It was quite suprising. They suggested a wonder appetizer and the food that followed was delicious. Nice staff. Very nice decor.

We ate early in the evening and were seated immediately. I loved the Indian carrot and corn soup and Cyrano chicken. Attentive, friendly service. Really no complaints.

Just had a fabulous meal, didn't choose it because if Tripadvisor, in fact wouldn't have at 187. The Venue looked inviting, the food was excellent as was the service. Had a meal last night that was much higher in Tripadvisor and wasn't a patch on this. It gets 100% from me.

I found the restaurant by the way. It is just off a well-trodden road. I was seated immediately. It was comfortable. I ordered fish and a glass of Hungarian white wine. Service was fairly quick. Food was delicious. I also heard other guests saying the same. Everybody around me seemed pleased with their meal. The only complaint I have is... More

We happened upon Cyrano while walking to the Christmas markets. My husband liked the menu and the woman outside was very friendly and assured us they could seat us right away and had a pasta menu for our daughter. We were given a lovely table. Food was expensive and it was the worst meal we had on our trip. My... More

This restaurant was 5 star all the way. The menu choice was brilliant as was the choice of drinks. The service was first class . The restaurant itself was comfortable and well decorated. Do not miss if in Budapest.

Eating Gluten Free can be difficult when travelling, but Cyrano's menu was great! I had the best dessert I've eaten in a long time here. Service was quick and staff were very friendly.

The food combinations were interesting and decent, but the place is way too hot and they overcharge on drinks (drink prices are not shown on the menu). A small dinner for two without any wine or alcohol (just water) came up to be EUR95, which is very expensive for budapest.

Thank Manuel A

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
