What a great restaurant, the best we visited in Budapest. There was a young woman who greeted us (March 23rd)and found us a table who was wonderful - warm, friendly, accommodating and so hard working. All the waiting staff were friendly, cheerful, informative and efficient. Our meal was first rate. Three of us had duck and one had sea bass... More

My friend and I searched all over Instagram for a nice dinner place when we arrived to Budapest and a lot of users suggested Menza. As soon as we entered the restaurant, there was only one seat left on the terrace, so we sat there immediately. It was the best choice we made because the atmosphere was SO AMAZING! Everything... I've been here few times, mid range pricing with quality dining experience and medium range food. Typical lunch ranges from 25-30euros / couple including drinks. One starter recommendation I suggest to share is the little langos / garlic soup (super filling and fattening but good). Nice location / neighborhood. Lastly the staff all speak perfect English and good service.

A young 'hip' American working in Budapest on a miniseries recommended Menza - so glad he did. With a current yet retro decor, and fresh inspired menu using Hungarian roots, I could see (and taste) being a regular here.

Walking in, I was a little surprised at the sharpness of the decor, the bright lights, and the sharp, snazzy feel to the place. We were met by a polite waiter who showed us to our table upstairs, took our drinks order and subsequently helped us with menu questions. My wife chose the pork schnitzel while I went for the... My family of three stopped here for dinner on a Saturday evening. There were no tables available inside but we were able to sit outside, where heaters and wraps kept us plenty warm. Our waiter was fantastically attentive and we were served our beverages quickly. My daughter had a Hungarian sour cherry soda which she loved. My husband I enjoyed... More

Just had a weekly special of fried chicken, boiled parsley baby potatoes w with cucumber salad. It was delicious! How is the chicken soooo much better in Europe than that the US? Tender & juicy! I even liked these salad and cucumbers are not my fav. My hubby really enjoyed his streak too. This hot orange rum drink hit the... More
