We stayed in Budapest for 4 days and we visited several restaurants but this was surely the worst experience we had in this touristic city. My soup and the wine were quiet fine but the main dish was a big laugh which went straight back...More

A nice place in one of the Vaci utca's sidestreets; I had a hungarian stew with beer - good food, nice service. Funny to watch the waiters' game with the place over the street in who gets the client :)

We've visited this cafe at 30.04.2012 Spent a lot of time waiting for the waiter, but ok. We've ordered pizza with 4 cheese and it wasn't good. It wasn't сut, was very creamy, after that we can't normally sleep because of stomachache.

We all enjoyed the food in this restaurant. No experts on traditional Hungarian food - but it tasted good and fitted in with our expectations. Portion sizes are very generousness so I'd be only going for one course unless you are completely starving! Service was...More

Absolutely appalling service, overpriced and not even tasty. The menu was pretentious and intimidating, so broad that it was difficult to know what to order. We waited for 45 minutes for our food and were disappointed by the small portions when it arrived. The waiters...More

Maybe it was because we had such a great meal the night before at the restaurant across the street but the menu and food were disappointing except for the goulash soup. The soup was full of meat and very hearty. I ordered a pizza with...More

Popped in to the Replay Cafe for a light lunch, ie a Goulash soup and an English tea. Goulash arrived, very watery, one lump of meat and the vegetables were not fresh, they were chopped up frozen mixed veg. To be honest an, "Up yours"...More

Today we had a lovely long lunch at Replay Cafe. We dined on very acceptable Hungarian food at what I consider to be a very acceptable price. For 2 entrees and 2 mains, plus 2 divine bottles of Hungarian Riesling from the Lake Balaton area....More
