An authentic Kosher Cafe found in the Jewish Quarter which includes an Art gallery and a theatre where Klezmer / Jewish folk music concerts are held. We stopped on a walking tour for tea and Flooni - a traditional cake.

I do visite this place every time when I am in Budapest and I cannot imagine not to go there next time. Best and warmest atmosphere, piano, every time the same good quality of food and drinks, friendly waiters.

If you want the full package, you will need to go in and book, as it gets full for the band show. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and you receive a welcome sparkling drink on arrival before going through into the tiny theatre at...More

Good service with a mixed menu that caters to the tourists but offers traditional Hungarian food to keep the locals. Their salads ( tried two Greek/Chicken Caesar )were tastefully prepared with bread as a side. The piano music was a plus and I found to...More

Dear Agnese, first of all: we don't fry the duck liver in oil - it's fried in its own fat. We are serving it with grapes, apple, pears in Tokaji wine sauce. Regarding the price: you ordered goose liver, in any normal restaurant in Budapest...More

District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses
the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and
colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in
an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes
and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic
crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of
the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in
Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly
