Nice atmosphere - more modern than many Chinese restaurants in UK. Portion size small but prices expensive for what it was. Wines also expensive, as seems to be the case in Estonia.

The restaurant interior is beautiful, the attention to detail....perfect and well styled. Chairs, tables, china, glasses, all beautifully edited and presented. Even your coat check is an opportunity to present a beautiful number sewed onto a handsome set of chopsticks. The food, too, is beautiful,...More

I come to Chedi when in Tallinn, occasionally, since it opened. It has had its ups and downs, as had the "Sparkling" mini-chain it belongs to; today, it is a very good Asian fusion restaurant. Don't let the whiners get to you; if you read...More

Chedi illustrates the wide range of influences that Tallinn through its geographic positioning has had. It serves good Chinese/Asian food in a modern, contemporary setting in an older building. There is a good wine list of fine wines. The service was good.

Chedi is quite expensive & creates an upscale setting to support those prices. We had three dishes, of varying quality. The halibut was lightly dusted & cooked in tasty spices. It was excellent. The spicy chicken (filleted pieces) was more sweet than spicy. The tofu...More

The food was okay, but got an allergic reaction from the food despite telling them about my nut allergy. This is not acceptable from a restaurant with such high prices!

My second visit within a year, and it was just as delicious as before. I had the spare ribs and the jasmine roast chicken. Enjoyed it immensely. And the portion sizes are good. Despite having worked an appetite walking round the old town, we didn't...More

The food and wine was lovely, especially the fried wasabi prawns that the waitress recommended was delicious. The service was efficient and friendly and the place has a nice atmosphere. Will definitely visit again when next in Tallinn!

Nice atmosphere, it was quite quite on June Saturday at 7pm still. We made reservation but maybe was not needed. Our waitress really took care of us, recommended wines and food professionally. Prices not cheap. Food was really good though and would definetely come back.

A warm and cosy contemporary Asian-style decor: high vaulted ceiling, large windows, decoratively revealed fragments of brickwork, laconic dark wood tables (the larger ones,of course, equipped with a revolving central part) sans tablecloths, a stylised stupa andsakura branches on one side of the room. Authentic chairs (imported from China),impressive Zen-style loos built in antique medieval vaults. The central niche with its twored and gold-painted trees is reminiscent of the splendid landscapes in Hero, the fi lm bythe Chinese director Zhang Yimou.
