Fantastic Estonian national malted bread (that I fell in love with 🍞👌🥇), high quality local products, great kitchen and professional service leib restaurant. Do yourself a favour and head off the touristy track to this little gem.

Went here with our two naught boys, and even with that we got perfect service with a smile, complimented with the best beef tartare we ever had! Good wine by glass and interesting beers. Surely will come back

Try their menu with recommended graft beers. They have a fantastic wine list -one of the best in town, but also the beers recommended with every dish are just fantastic.

One of my favourite restaurants in Tallinn, excellent place for lunch and dinner! Located in Tallinn old town (but not in the main tourist area - still worth to make a little 5-minutes walk to find it).

The food at Lieb is all locally sourced and the menu is very well executed - short, simple and to the point. Excellent wine list and plenty of helpful recommendations from the friendly, English speaking staff. Starters of wild mushroom soup, and beetroot and goats...More

We were a group that had a table booked at Leip. The orders were complex, the group demanding and so on. They were professional to a T. My steak was perfectly cooked and I am really ready to send these back if needed. No need....More

At Leib, we bring the farm to your table. Over the years, we have built a family with dedicated local farmers, fishermen and producers to bring you food with flavour directly from the source. Leib is a labour of love, a three-way partnership between a chef, a sommelier and the farmers. We plan our menus together, with wine playing just as an important role of the dining experience as the food itself. Estonia has many talented brewers and distillers. Together, we bring you local ciders, craft beers, and homemade liqueurs, many of which we brew ourselves. Every dish, every ingredient tells a story. At Leib, we want to invite you to sit down at our table and tell you these stories. The name Leib means black bread in Estonian, something that is essential to any meal. Our menu changes with the seasons, a challenge that we love, but the black bread remains the same. The bread, much like the restaurant, is a reminder of the simple pleasures of honest, local food made with heart!
