I visited Tallinn as part of the business trip and since I was there for the first time, I wanted to see the old town. Being hungry after a long day I was wandering in the old city and by lucky chance I came across this cozy restaurant. I stepped in and I was immediately absorbed by its atmosphere. The... More

An excellent wine bar in the heart of the old town. They have a rich collection of wines, around the world. About 300 labels. They offer any wine label by the glass. We really enjoyed our wine experience. Also the plate with salamis and cheeses (Antipasto del Gallo Nero) was a really great complement to our wine drinking experience. The... More

Tiny little spot a couple of minutes from the old town square. All of the wines on their shelf are available by the glass or by the bottle, with a great selection of Italian wines. We ordered some bruschetta and antipasti and all were of fantastic quality and flavour. The antipasti boards are very large, so bring your appetite. Highly... More

Weren't sure what to expect after reading reviews but I'm sure you won't be disappointed by a visit here. Food was prepared behind the counter and we had a plate of cheese, meat, olives and bread. Also I had a lasagne. It was gorgeous. Really enjoyed the food. Waitress helped us pick a nice red wine that we both enjoyed.... More

Il Gallo Nero was such a great little find when we were thirsty, hungry and cold. It is a cosy little wine bar / deli / cafe where you can waste away hours drinking well selected wine and a antipasti plate freshly prepared by the owner!

Perfect little restaurant located for a quick bite to eat and some warming Glogg! My husband and I had lasagne which was delicious and our friends had the paninis. Glogg had very spicy kick, just what we needed in the cold, sadly only had enough for us to have one glass each. Food and wine came to €20 per couple.... More

Love it every time! The best antipasto plate and amazing wine selection. You should also try their tiramisu.

Low key and relaxing place to hang out for a glass of wine and a bite of cheese. Nice hosts and good service.

Great vinoteque with nice Italian vines. Meals are salads and baquettes, no heavy options available. Would be even better if pricier reds were not in shelves but in vine cabinet. Place is tiny so without reservation you are lucky to fit in.

Originally a delishop for wines and hams that came through Raekoja plats, it was transformed into a wine bar and general store. After the 2008 flood the cellars were restored. Under an old ceiling, Swedish style, is now possible to eat in this suggestivs, 18th-century location. The furnishings, partially reconstructed with antique materials, re-create a typical wine bar atmosphere of Tuscany. Since 2006 the place has been run by the Giomi family who offer a traditional Tuscan menu, based in panini, antipasti, salads and a broad choice of wines.
