The place is definitely not the most posh restaurant, but it does not need to be. III Draakon is great, there are only several dishes, but they are tasty (especially the soup), the ambience nice, and the music fitting. It is also good, if you want to get a quick cheap light meal.

Seriously, why would you go here? Unless you like expensive tacky tourist traps. We avoid places like this like a medieval plague but ended up here as part of a pub crawl on the understanding that it was an experience and cheap drink. It was the most expensive drink at 9euro for half a beer and a wine. I paid... More

Great atmospheric place - it only has 4-5 things on the menu but cheap and cheerful. The location is great and the whole design and interior transfers you in the Medieval times. The staff is a bit bossy but only because they are very busy.

For a medieval experience you cannot fault this little gem of a tavern. Perhaps too rustic for some (and too dark and claustrophobic for others) it is a candle lit meal with a difference. Ox ribs at €10 is not cheap but not expensive either. But beware! Do not tamper with the candles as the staff get very upset!

I did not enjoy as i did before. It was because of Easter perhaps. To many people and lady in cashier was so aggressive towards customers! As a place it must be seen. One of medieval Tallinn ambiance you'll feel there..

After unusually cold April weather we saw a tempting sign outside that announced hot wine for 2,5 €. Amazed by cozy interior our group of 10 people ordered hot wine and some beer, and were quite astonished to be asked 55€ for 10 drinks. Lady behind the bar just thought that she would serve us BIG ones. When I clarified... More

An obvious tourist trap but fun. Nice enough jug of beer with an elk pie which was more of a warm sausage roll but the hostess was hilarious. Very cheeky to the young crowd of Italian visitors in front of us and then gave me her chat to get a top. She was brilliant. I'd have paid to pop in... More

Centrally located, this place has probably the cheapest soup in tallin and it tastes very good too! There are also ox ribs, sausages, pastries and free pickles that you have to fish from a barrel. Very medieval ambience with fitting music and the cashier and cook are dressed fittingly as well.

Interesting themed restaurant serving simple, medieval style fare. Start with the elk soup, and have a hot pie with it. Then go for the sausages if you feel adventurous. There is also the option to have some meat on the bone if you're really hungry. The food was tasty and reasonably priced given its location, though not as inexpensive as... More

Located under the 12th Century Raekoda (Town Hall) building in the main square of Old Town Tallinn, Kolmas Dragon (or the Third Dragon) is a small medieval-themed tavern. This charming eatery with its beautiful-period interior is hosted daily by a group of petulant housekeepers whose job it is to entertain all-comers with their brusque and rude service manner. However this is all purely theatrical - a style that is closer to the behaviour that one would have received in the medieval ages.

Specialities that are served include beef ribs, elk soup, savoury pastries, pickles from a barrel, teas, wines and the famous house beer.

All those who enter should therefore be ready for not only tasty foods and beverages but also to some exceptionally entertaining service.
